Operating as CBS International Business School since 2020, the CBS University of Applied Sciences was established in 1993 as a state-recognised private business school in Germany. Today, the university operates at seven campuses (Cologne, Mainz, Potsdam, Aachen, Brühl, Neuss, Solingen) and has roughly 3,000 students from over 70-75 nationalities.
CBS offers around 40 English and German-taught program at Bachelor’s, Master’s and MBA levels, including full-time, part-time, dual or extra-occupational formats. Its curricula cover fields such as International Business, Finance & Management, Business Psychology, Marketing, Digital Management, HR & Strategy, Logistics & Supply Chain, consistent with practice-oriented learning.
All programs are accredited by FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), institutionally recognised by the Wissenschaftsrat (German Science and Humanities Council), and also have accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). The school holds a valid quality management accreditation by the German Accreditation Council.
CBS maintains a large international network with over 160 partner universities worldwide. Students frequently enjoy exchange semesters, internships with corporates, business projects, simulation games, and guest lectures by industry experts. The campus-life is multicultural, with about 30% international students.

The Career Service & Talent Development Office supports students via 1:1 coaching, networking events, and guidance throughout the studies.
