Student Visa Requirements for Germany

Indian students require a German National Visa (Type D) for courses longer than 90 days. Requirements include:

    • Admission letter from a German institution.
    • Valid passport and passport-sized photos.
    • Proof of financial resources (Blocked Account with ~€11,904/year).
    • Academic transcripts and certificates.
    • Proof of language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL/TestDaF).
    • Health insurance coverage.
    • Visa application form and fee payment.
    • Visa interview at German Embassy or Consulate.
